Eric Hanser
I’m a New York-based experience strategist, working to create meaningful digital experiences for a variety of audiences and needs for nearly 15 years. I am also an avid runner, active board-gamer, amateur cosplayer, sober vegan, and dog Dad to a crotchety old Min-pin and an aggressively affectionate terrier mutt.
Like so many others, Marlboro was far more than an academic institution for me—it was a place of growth, self-discovery, inspiration, and connection. Marlboro played a pivotal role in setting me on the path to become the person I am today. From my professional approach to problem-solving to my creative curiosity to my relationship to my community, Marlboro has helped shape my personal and professional values.
With my experience designing digital strategies that align organizational goals with user needs, I would love to play a role in creating and/or improving digital tools and online spaces where Marlboro alumni feel valued and engaged.
In the coming years, I believe a primary focus of the council should be on building a digital infrastructure that’s accessible, interconnected, and scalable. A strong digital foundation will enable more connections, more regular and meaningful engagement, and proper measurement to learn from and grow.
