Emily Graves

Marlboro set the standard for my learning experience, and it set the bar high. I've since become an instructor at Louisiana State University, and have witnessed a different paradigm of education. (No shade on my students, that's more to comment on how Marlboro, as an institution, incentivized educational risk-taking and curiosity.) As regards my suitability for the council, I now have a backstage sense for the workings of educational institutions, so that may be of use. Last, I would like to see a strong professional network for our alumni, perhaps a disciplinary register of our alum so that folks in adjacent fields can contact each other for potential collaboration.
