Emily Graves

Marlboro spoiled me. When I went to grad school, I figured that my new learning community would be as engaged and as civic-minded as my Marlboro community. I came to learn about the educational paradigm of a business model, with students as customers. I felt even luckier than I did when I was attending Marlboro, and so my sentimentality for it is like a longing for a giddy educational innocence. I am now an instructor at Louisiana State University, and I teach many basic communication courses. Some semesters I get to teach performance, or film.
