Bob Little Tree
As a Traditional First/Native American I bring a totally different way of looking at things of our world. I am a Madeolinu trained in the Big house Medicine Way by Nora Thompson Dean, Grand Sachem of the Lene-Lanape people & Metenu. Besides USA, I'm a citizen of the Paugussett Nation. I have over these many years worked in a myriad of different jobs. I'm currently a School Bus Route driver for OSSD. As a Master Gardener I'm currently the Gardener for 3 different Owners. I'm also a volunteer Vermont Forest Pest Detector.
After graduating from Marlboro with a BA in Dance, Pedagogy & Theatre Arts I directed my own Centering Thru Movement dance school for over 15 years in White River Junction, Vermont.
I would like to see the integrity & legacy of what Marlboro stood for throughout all its years of glory & struggle to be a GOAL all American higher education institutes strive for. I came as a Dance Student but was pushed to improve in writing. If one can not express themselves clearly, passionately & contagiously then their impact on our world of all ages will fall short. Marlboro pushed me to improve this skill. Just a couple of days ago I received an email telling me how my (true) story about a Redbud that was not only dying due to poor care but of heartbreak on how I was treated brought him to tears.
The last question requires all the Council putting the best aspects of our minds together. Figure out a direction that will work for all & THEN set goals or path or paths to achieve it.
